Getting Back to Basics: Growing Your Own Vegies Organically

Tired of vegetables from the supermarket that are tasteless and deteriorate within days of purchase? Remember how the tomatoes and fresh beans and peas from Grandad's veggie patch used to taste? Are you wary of genetically modified food? Growing your own fresh vegetables is not difficult and apart from the wonderful taste, you will also know exactly what has gone into and on to your food.

The next meeting of Roleystone Organic Growers will be all about how to get started with growing your own veggies.  We will have a panel of new and experienced backyard veggie growers sharing how they got started, what they grow, and how they maintain their patch.

The meeting will be on Wed. April 8th @ 7:30pm at the Roleystone Family Centre in Wygonda Rd. Roleystone Cost is $3. Enquiries to Lisa 9399 2312.
